Bearkit was born in the WindClan Nursery in the middle of leaf-bare.

Bearkit became Bearpaw on 07/11/21, Twighlightstar giving him Swiftwind as his mentor. Around this time Bearpaw began developing worsening anxiety and worries, having a panic attack at his first gathering and having to be calmed by his new mentor. Soon after ShadowClan claimed part of WindClan territory, Bearpaw along with Swiftwind, Leafsky, and Cedarbuzz were assigned to patrol the new border by Wolffang. During this nervewracking patrol Bearpaw got stuck in the mud and had to be pulled out by the warriors.
